Introductory Mammal Taxidermy Course

This comprehensive course encompasses the entire taxidermy process, ranging from skinning to the final finishing touches on your mammal specimen. Our chosen subject for instruction is the Marten, skillfully mounted on a hind legs-standing form meticulously sculpted by the renowned Ken Walker. Limited to a select group of 3-5 students per session, this course will be led by two proficient instructors, Chantelle Theriault and Ken Walker.

Upon completion of the course, each participant will retain their personally mounted Marten, accompanied by a detailed instructional booklet outlining the step-by-step procedures covered throughout the program. Additionally, participants will receive guidance on essential tools for taxidermy, including information on local and specialized suppliers.

The tuition for this course is $2500 + GST, with a 25% non-refundable deposit required to secure enrollment. The remaining 75% of the fee is due the day prior to the commencement of the course.

This course will be held at our shop near Alberta Beach.
